Lori A. Buxton acts as Director of Probate and Trust Administration for TrustBuilders Law Group and oversees its Post Mortem, Corporate Law, and Business Entities Divisions as well. She holds a law degree (JD) from Regent University, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate Law and Finance from Widener University, and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning from Georgetown University. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Tennessee and Minnesota.
Mrs. Buxton has worked for multiple law, real estate title, and wealth management firms up and down the East Coast and before joining TrustBuilders, was most recently Associate Senior Trust Counsel for United Bank’s Trust and Private Wealth Management Groups.
Mrs. Buxton manages the Post Mortem department for the firm. This includes all areas of Probate, Estate, and Trust Administration. In addition to handling Administration, she oversees all corporate matters for Trustbuilders Law Group and holds production and management positions in its sister financial planning and fiduciary services companies.
Mrs. Buxton resides in Williamsburg, Virginia. Outside of the office, she stays occupied with her two boys and black lab, Moxie. She enjoys various volunteer opportunities with local non-profits, supporting and volunteering at Hampton Roads Academy, and is an active participant in her church, Waters Edge.
